Yup! Unlike most recipes, which call for crushing candy canes, and adding peppermint oil, our recipe combines melted chocolate and tasty red and green peppermint crunch- no crushing required-- that's it!
Our peppermint bark is the easiest recipe you'll make this holiday season and it comes with major bragging rights, anyone who eats it will be sending praises your way! What you'll need
Line a cookie pan with a piece of parchment paper.
Melt merckens (see HERE for information on how to melt merckens).
Add peppermint crunch. Stir to combine.
Spread mixture onto prepared cookie sheet.
Chill for 20 minutes.
Break into bite-size pieces--do this with your hands or a knife.
Place into bags and seal. Store at room temperature for up to four weeks.
(Yields approximately 1 1/2 pounds of peppermint bark)
Note: One bag of red and green peppermint crunch makes two batches of bark. So, you'll need two pounds of Merckens candy coatings to make a double batch!
