  1. Easy Gum Paste Roses

Making gum paste roses can be tough and time-consuming--even for the best cake decorator. We’ve got something to help! Our rose cutter set helps you make roses in minutes. All you need is the cutter and gum paste.

Not only does this make quick work of gum paste roses, it also solves the problem of getting a consistent size and look. Use this cutter once and it’ll be your new best friend.

    What You’ll Need

    Step 1

Make gum glue by adding ¼ teaspoon tylose powder to 2 tablespoons warm water. Mix well breaking up lumps. Cover and place in the refrigerator to set up to a syrupy consistency for a few hours or preferably overnight.

Color gum paste to desired shade using gel food coloring such as AmeriColor. Add a couple drops of coloring to gum paste and knead it in. We recommend wearing plastic gloves when coloring sugar paste!

    Step 2

Sprinkle work surface with a moderate dusting of cornstarch and roll out a thin piece of gum paste about a 1/8 of an inch thick.

    Step 3

Use the size cutter of your choice (our set includes three different sizes) and press down into the gum paste. Remove excess.

Note: If your piece of gum paste is drying out too quickly, or looks powdery, rub a dab of vegetable shortening into fingertips and lightly brush away any excess cornstarch using your fingers.

    Step 4

Move your gum paste cut-out to a foam flower pad. Use the ball tool to lightly roll over the edges of the petals just until they curl up. The foam pad cushions the pedals helping them not to rip.

    Step 5

Brush a thin line of gum glue down the center and fold in half lengthwise.

Start rolling from one end to the other, lightly pulling the petals downward to open the rose.

Once you get to the end, secure it using a little gum glue. If you'd like another row of petals to make a larger, fuller rose, repeat the above steps (Steps one through 4)  then use gum glue to attach one end to the rose you created previously, and begin rolling the second piece of gum paste around the rose.

Set aside to dry for about 24 hours.

Look no further! If you’ve ever looked for the best greaseproof cupcake liners, your searching stops here, we've got the best!

We know that’s kind of a big thing to say, who are we to tell you our cupcake cups are “the best”, of course, we're going to be biased.

Our customers can back us up on this statement, our cupcake liners are a favorite among many bakers, cake decorators, and even some serious bloggers!. We get a lot of awesome feedback about our cupcake cups, so we know we're not the only ones boasting about their quality.

With an abundance of cupcake liner options on the market, we're sure many of you are wondering what makes ours the best.

    Here’s what makes them great-

( **Please Note: All of this information applies to all our SOLID colored cupcake liners, mini muffin cups, loaf pan liners, and Texas jumbo muffin cups. Our Polka Dot cups are just as awesome in quality and all of this information applies to them EXCEPT when baking chocolate cupcakes, they will not stay as bright and beautiful as our solid colors. Due to their light color -vintage blue, vintage pink, and white liners will not stay as vibrant and bright when baking)

    1. Our cupcake liners are NEVER made in China! In fact, they are imported from Australia where FDA regulations are stricter than ours.

    2. All of our solid colors (excluding white) stay solid and bright even after baking chocolate cupcakes! The difference is in the quality of the color and paper. Our cupcake liners colors are solid throughout the paper (meaning the paper used is actually one solid color. Not white on the inside and color on the outside)

    3. All the dyes used to make these beauties are FDA approved FOOD SAFE DYES.

    4. Quality, Quality, Quality! (Did I mention they are quality cupcake liners?)

    5. The color of our cupcake liners will never end up bleeding into your batter.

    6. Lastly, (although we could probably find a million other reasons) our baking cups are Nordic greaseproof.

Beautiful bright cupcake liners that don’t fade, don’t bleed, are never made with harmful dyes, and made from greaseproof paper.

It really doesn’t get better than that! We hope you try them for yourself! We know your cupcakes will love wearing them, and your customers, family, and friends will love them too!
