Red Merckens Candy Coatings are a special candy melt designed for melting, molding, and dipping without the need for tempering.

These candy wafer buttons are made by Merckens in the USA. Unlike candy melts found in craft stores, our Merckens colored coatings taste like delicious white chocolate with a hint of vanilla flavor. It’s smooth, creamy, and delicious.

To use Merckens, simply melt in the microwave and start making candy, it’s just that easy!

Our Merckens Nut Allergen Information:

Merckens candy coatings are manufactured in a nut-free facility. Merckens chocolate does not contain nuts. Please note Merckens does carry a peanut butter candy coating (we no longer carry this item to avoid cross-contamination), but they manufacture this product in a separate facility. We repackage our merckens colored candy coatings in 1 LB bags, and while we take the absolute best care to ensure cross contamination does not occur, we cannot state that our packaged bags of merckens are nut free because we are not a nut free facility.

We offer Red Merckens candy melts in bulk. These cases come right from Merckens, 25 lb cases are nut free.

Merckens Red Candy Coatings Ingredients:

Sugar, Vegetable Oil (Palm Kernel Oil, Hydrogenated Palm Kernel, and Cottonseed Oils), Nonfat Dry Milk, Milk, Glyceryl Lacto Esters of Fatty Acids, Red 40 Lake, Soy Lecithin, Salt, and Artificial Flavor.   

Merckens Shipping Information:

Chocolate and candy coatings may melt when shipped during warmer months, however, they’re still fine to use! Just place your candy coatings in the refrigerator or in a very cool area for 10 minutes or until rehardened. Remove and let the candy coatings come to room temperature, break apart and melt!
